We invite you to explore career opportunities within Education Station. Education Station seeks part-time instructors for our after-school programs. Our small group instruction programs are designed to meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. Instructors will teach vocabulary and comprehension and/or Mathematics to groups of 10 elementary or middle school students. Instructors will assess students, teach students reading/math concepts, and manage classroom behavior and record progress. Training, management, all lesson plans and scripted lessons are provided. Excellent program and work environment. Paid training will be provided. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a BA/BS. High energy level and flexibility needed. Belief that all kids can learn and positive outlook are essential. Instructors generally work for 2 hours per day on Tues, Wed, Thurs. Work would start between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and end 1-3 hours later. Background check required.
